A growing list of activities is being organized for this years Tree Fest on October 3.  These include guided walks, Kids activities, live music and many others.  Covid protocols will be in place and there will be limits to the numbers attending certain events.  Guided walks will require tickets to attend.  Access to the Kid’s craft tables will be available when space become available.  Social distancing of 2 meters and or masking will be in effect.

Walks and Stories

There will be four guided walks and two childrens stories at Tree Fest.  These will require tickets to attend.  Tickets will be available at Tree Fest on October 3.

Tree Identification of local tree species at Marie Curtis Park – Three 30 minute walks

Forest Bathing  A tree therapy experience in the woods.   Two 1 hour sessions.

Indigenous History of Etobicoke Creek and the local waterfront   Three  20 minute walks

Hurricane Hazel History walk  Two 30 minute walks

Childrens stories under a tree  Three 30 minute sessions

Indigenous Kid’s stories  Three 10 minute sessions
