A number of walks  and activities will take place throughout the festival.  Refer to the event schedule for times.  Activities will start near the presenting booth unless otherwise noted.

Walks

Tree Identification Walks

Move beyond just passive enjoyment of trees with a half hour tree identification walk presented by LEAF.  Walks take place at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30.

History Walk

A 1/2 hour history walk presented by the LBNA History and Culture Committee will take place at 2:00.

The walk will cover historical artifacts within Marie Curtis Park and include; The British 32lb Naval Cannon, Hurricane Hazel, Marie Curtis, A.H. Richardson and the Toronto Purchase.

Outdoor Yoga Class

Alive Yoga will lead an outdoor yoga class at 1:00 pm.  The class is open to all participants and is  geared to all levels.

The event is weather dependent.

Participants are asked to bring their own mats.


Free Shrubs

LEAF will provide free native shrubs at their booth until supplies run out.

Plant Exchange

Lakeshore Environmental Gardening Society (LEGS)

Will be holding a plant exchange all day at their booth
