We are lucky enough in Long Branch to home many large trees that have been silently surviving through the decades. While trees around them have fallen due to fires, floods, lumber mills and constant development they have been able to stand strong and we believe this needs to be celebrated.

By: Nicole Bitter – Tree Stewardship In-Field Lead.  Nicole is a recent graduate from the University of Guelph and Fleming College. She has worked for the Long Branch Neighbourhood Association on community tree stewardship programs and inventory of the local urban forest.
